چکیده
NiFe2O4/SiO2/NiO magnetic was successfully synthesized using NiFe2O4, SiO2, and NiO as the core, interlayer, shell, respectively. under UV light irradiation used for photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange dye with different pH, catalyst dose, initial concentration. This composite characterized by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy-Electron Dispersive Spectroscopy (SEM-EDs), Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM), UV-Vis Diffuse Reflectance (UV-Vis DRS), Point Zero Charge (pHpzc). The results showed that is a superparamagnetic material saturation magnetization value 44.13 emu/g. It also has band gap 2.67 eV pHpzc 6.33. optimum conditions were at pH 4; 0.50 g/L 10 mg/L efficiency to 95.76%. in concentrations follows pseudo-first-order, where greater concentration, smaller constant rate (k). After five cycles repeated usage, good catalytic performance well efficient favourable recyclable photocatalyst. متن کاملPhotocatalytic Degradation of Methyl Orange by CeO2 and Fe–doped CeO2 Films under Visible Light Irradiation
Undoped CeO2 and 0.50-5.00 mol% Fe-doped CeO2 nanoparticles were prepared by a homogeneous precipitation combined with homogeneous/impreganation method, and applied as photocatalyst films prepared by a doctor blade technique. The superior photocatalytic performances of the Fe-doped CeO2 films, compared with undoped CeO2 films, was ascribed mainly to a decrease in band gap energy and an increase...
